He is an artist closely related to literature and painting since his early years, as he began his professional career in the mid-eighties in Madrid, where he came into direct contact with the artistic community and began to conceive art as a way of life. Darío Álvarez Basso considers that his work, within the most classical pictorial tradition, has a timeless character, which has never been an obstacle to assuming a creative consciousness in the context of contemporaneity and paying personal tribute to the man of his time.
