It is a project born from the collaboration of different women related to urban art and activism through art and social change. It is not only interesting, if not necessary, to analyze how the nature of female representation is traditionally approached in contemporary art in general, and in urban art in particular. The importance of analyzing the representation of women in urban art and seeking forms of figuration that contribute to the empowerment of women through art, lies in the fact that images are effective tools to create, reproduce and transmit meanings.
