Daniel Muñoz began his artistic career in the early nineties painting on the walls of his hometown of Moraleja (Cáceres) and in 2000 he moved to Madrid to study at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University. From the beginning his work has been markedly figurative, his language is made up of symbols and codes that provoke a careful reading, between the narrative of classical painting and the sociological discourses of contemporary art. All his works provoke diverse and confusing interpretations, despite narrating everyday facts and anecdotes, based on more mundane topics. In recent years he has made numerous exhibitions and interventions in Europe, North America, South America, Russia and the Middle East.
