Graffiti artist, painter and graphic designer, Popay offers a visceral and organic work. Born in Barcelona, he has been inspired by paintings by Combas, Picasso, comics and animated films. Using sprays, brushes or airbrushes, Popay invests lot of time in his work, from city walls to canvases. He is also a fan of digital media just as much as traditional media, creating illustrations, album covers, photo prints, and video projection. As one of the pioneers of street art, his work today takes place in the four corners of Europe, in notable areas of contemporary art.
