“Disneylexya is the name chosen to represent the idea of graphic mutation”
Disneylexya is the name chosen to represent the idea of graphic mutation based on the reinterpretation and mixture of myths of antiquity with my own symbology. This exercise has resulted in an amalgam composed by the iconography of European medieval bestiaries, alchemical treatises and the native Latin American aesthetic. All framed in graphic structures that bear some resemblance to the compositions and language used in the Chilean popular muralism of the 70s.
